I don’t know of any male who has been circumcised to say that they don’t get sexual pleasure! A male being circumcised has nothing to do with sexual pleasure. It has to do with cleanliness. Your arguement about the pain is valid…and some parents refuse to have their boys circumcised for that reason, but not because of lack of sexual pleasure.
Well, circumcision is for hygiene and cleanliness purposes, not sexual pleasure. Besides, their are plenty of men who are circumcised that find sex highly pleasurable like uncircumcised men. Yes, getting circumcise hurts and is a painful experiences, that why parents decide to do it when the boy is a baby. But, new medical procedures/techniques are making getting circumcises less painful for the boys and the parents.
I’m sorry, but males are circumcised these days due to the ‘fact’ that we live in a society that does many things the same way Jews did before Christ was born. And ‘male circumcision’ does not cause men ‘not to enjoy sex’ as much as those who are not circumcised … it’s basically done for ‘hygiene’ because ‘wetness’ left under the foreskin can cause ‘infection.’ Circumcising a woman, however TOTALLY TAKES AWAY ALL PLEASURE and a woman can’t have an orgasm after she’s been ‘circumcised’ … so while I ‘agree with you’ that both acts are ‘ridiculous,’ the ‘facts’ that you give as ‘proof’ aren’t worth anything and are in fact ‘wrong.’

Harvey Kellogg was the “doctor” that brought “circumcision” to the non jewish Americans to “cure” masturbation and reduce the tendency of men to “bother” their wives.
Male Genital Mutilation (male circumcision) removes more than half of the sensory nerves of the penis. This was done to minimize the male pleasure in sex, so that he wouldn’t “waste” so much of his time and effort on sex. He could then devote more time to more “important” things like religion and war. They had to invent better reasons to keep doing it to boys so they came up with the idea that it is impossible for a boy to clean his penis if he has a foreskin. Later they added the fabrications about circumcision preventing STDs; like cutting of body parts will stop disease, get real. For all the circumcising that has been done in the US we have the worst record for STDs of all the industrialized nations, the rest of them don’t circumcise.
Males still seem to get pleasure from sex for the simple reason that men just plain love sex; they can “get off” just from engaging in the act. Sometimes just from thinking about it, THIS DOESN’T MEAN THEY CAN FEEL MUCH, IF ANYTHING!
As far as the cutting of girls; if we are going to follow the customs of primitive desert tribes and mutilate the genitals of boys, the reasons and beliefs of other primitive tribes that mutilate girls are just as valid. They believe they are “neater and cleaner looking” too.
Hygiene: if a boy can learn to shave his face he can learn to skin it back in the shower and was the willie (much more enjoyable than shaving)
